BUSHINGS! Your bushings need to be replaced. It is probably worse if you are in a turn at 65mph, too.

SOURCE: 98 chevy astro vibrates at 65mph wats wrong

Tire is most likely out of round, some tires the belts separate under the tread you cannot see them but they make the whole vehicle shake and it throws your alignment out

Why is the front driver side wheel vibrating?

A tire balancing weight might have fallen off rendering the tire unbalanced and resulting in the vibration at speed.

If that is not it, there could also be something wrong with the suspension up front like the shock absorber or strut.

Have your Mechanic check the steering tie rod bushings, and linkage. Sometimes it's just an adjustment to the steering box play(located at the end of the steering wheel shaft), - easy to fix.

i would suspect somewhere in your front end you have a compliance bushing with excessive movement. these cars front ends depend heavily on these style bushings, and as they wear you can start to see tire wear patterns, looseness in steering, and high speed vibration. make sure you have the front end inspected by a shop that is familier with these types of cars. good luck!

Get your tires balanced. Most likely you have had a hole patched in the tire at some point and they did not balance the tire. (Left rear)

Car shaking and vibrating at 55 mph. and does it again at 65-70.

Hi:
Since your BMW 540 series is a rear wheel drive car, a common cause of that sort of vibration is often the U joints on your drive shaft. The vibration often only shows up and certain speeds.

It isn't a particularly expensive repair, but is something to have checked out!
