You should not have paid for the repair till you saw the car started ,the fault is entirely yours .Sorry i have no idea why this vehicle will not start without a play under the bonnet so get the so called electrician back and play dumb and dont pay one cent till he starts the car ,no start no pay its that simple

Could the electronic control module be bad even though I had spark in my 89 Jeep Wrangler?

I respectfully disagree. You can have spark and still have a bad control module. These can fail in many different hard to diagnose ways. Spark can be erratic, weak, bad at only low rpms or bad only at high rpms. Parts stores will often test these for free, but the tests are not always capable of finding the odd problems. Only replacement is a good test.

325i BMW engine crank over but does not run , no spark on the coil . and no injector fluid .

If there is no spark it is certain that the ECU is faulty or the electronic igntition unit is faulty and so does not triggger the HT coil. So you need to take a voltage check on the HT coil to confirm.
ALso the fuel pump must be triggered and it seems that the ECU can be the suspect if the fuel pump also does not work.

I have a 2004 BMW 545i. I'm currently working to remove all of the 8 spark plugs to check their condition. I'm unable to remove the ignition coils up and out of the spark plug holes on the two far rear...

sorry, don't know that one, but google BMW 545i coil removal and see what you get. Also, be careful getting the plugs out as some are often corroded in place due to aluminum/steel chemical reaction. Sometimes it takes an impact wrench to jar them back and forth a little at a time to get them out. Use high temp anti sieze on the new plug threads if you want to get them out again later. good luck.

Changed coil and distributor cap, still my engine has no spark

Here are 2 things to check. With the distributor cap off crank the engine. Does the rotor turn? If it's not turning you may have a broken timing chain. If your timing chain is ok then the problem may be the ignition module. This is usually located at the base of the distributor and it will have several wires running into it. The ignition module converts the DC battery voltage into an AC voltage that the ignition coil transforms up to a much higher voltage that will be sent out to the spark plugs through the distributor. I hope this helps you out.

How to reset bmw 545i computer when you change battery

Having the battery disconnected for half an hour or so will drain the capacitors in the ECU. Connecting a battery at that point puts the computer into relearn mode automatically.

Check to see if you have spark at the coil. If you have spark at the coil and no spark at the plug, you probably have a bad distributor cap and/or rotor.

If there is no spark at the coil, you need to find out if there is voltage present at the B+ terminal of the coil.
No B+ could be anything from a bad ASD relay to a broken wire or burned fusible link.

If B+ voltage is present at the coil, the "NO-SPARK" condition could be caused by anything from a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) to a bad Ignition Control Module (ICM) To a bad Electronic Control Unit ((ECU) - AKA Engine Control Module)

replace the busted transistor in your ECU. For Bosch 30011 or 30014 you can use BU323Z transistor for replacement. it´s 100% pin-compatible and released for transistor ignition systems.
