Your manual for the car should have that info in it. You do not need to access the airbag compartment. It will work if & when you have a vehicle accident.

How often are you putting fluid In the bottle and how much fluid or have you every done it since it was new. Many times over time fluid will evaporate.
If it is a sudden lost that is something else. If a sudden lose of fluid it could be a leak in a hose, head gasket or intake gasket.
