Question about 2003 Ford Windstar
Last night driving home my van started up great but as I drove lights on the dash came on and headlights began to fade until they were just about gone, then started flashing and then gone. I followed someone back to where I'd come from and enginge quit and wouldn't start back up. when I turned the key and removed it off the lights came on and then startd to flash and they key buzzer sounded when door was open. Everything went off when it was put into gear and then back on when in park with no key. Any ideas
Check battery terminals and make sure they are NOT loose or have corrosion if they are tighten and remove corrosion with water and baking soda. If the terminal are tight and NO corrosion then you have a BAD ALTERNATOR, replace and solve this problem, also have battery check it may also be going bad or bad from being drained all the way down. Good Luck contact if you nee more help and Thanks for Using FIX YA
