SOURCE: buzzing sound from under dash when engaging turn

I believe the problem lies within the hydrochromatic gauge located under the steering capacitor. But I don't see why you use your turn signal anyway, when it just burns out the bulb.

SOURCE: 1997 cavalier turn signals

Your left turn signal relay might be out, if i remember correctly, it's located in the fuse box, and is as easy as changing a fuse. If it isnt in the fuse box under your dash then check under the hood, possibly near the battery.

Trying to locate turn signal relay flasher on a 2000 chevy monte carlo ss

The Monte uses a single flasher unit that integrates turn signal and flasher functions. It is mounted in a junction block that is attached to the firewall just to the left of the steering column under the instrument panel. To get at it you have to remove the the sound insulation panel that is attached to the lower steering cover and then the lower steering cover as well.

Issues with turn signal in my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero. Hazard lights and right/left turn signal emit a very loud buzzing, then gets stuck. It does not work most of the time, or when it does, it buzzes...

Sounds like you have a bad multi-function switch or signal switch they are the same thing. This will fix the cruise control but, your other problem is your hazard warning switch replace it to.This will fix both of your problems.P.S you can get both of these from www.rockauto.com for less than $60.00.
