Has the fuel regulator been checked or replaced.
I'm not sure which engine you have, but to check the regulator, if it applies to your engine, is to connect a fuel pressure gauge and monitor pressure after the engine is shut off. The fuel pressure should not leak down, if it does, you may have a weak regulator or leaking injector.
If the regulator checks out, you may want to consider a fuel injector rail cleaning. I don't know how many miles you have on the truck, but if you are over 60K and the system has never been cleaned, the injector or injectors can deliver a malformed spray pattern that is not atomized correctly and cause hard starts, hesitation and lower fuel economy.
Good luck, let me know.

Wheel speed sensors misadjusted, damaged , or metal shavings and other debree, since they are magnetic can give false readings from one of the wheel circuits. Over sized tires can give of false speed readings as well. there are many other causes including bad relay, control module, e.t.c. It is best to have the proper scan tool to diagnose an ABS problem

Check your transmission. Look underneath the truck and see if you see moisture around the transmission pan. If you see any indication of that, you may have a huge issue on your hands. Your reverse gear is seized to the Drive Gear. However hopefully it's something like needing a new clutch or a clutch adjustment

The fuel pump is located INSIDE the gas tank and is a combination fuel pump/sending unit for the fuel gauge. Be prepared for a large repair bill. About $600!
