yes it could be the fule filter . You will need to find out if there is fuel going to the injectors this is easy done by removing the inlet pipe to the injector rail and turning the ignition to postion 2 just before cranck. If there is no sign of fule then it couls be your filter .If there is fuel at the injector rail let me no and i will assits further

SOURCE: 93 honda accord was runniing fine. suddenly died

Try Spraying starting fluid into the intake if it starts then dies again you have a fuel delivery problem if it doesnt start then check for spark at the plug wires . If you know for sure that you are getting fuel and have spark both then it could be in the timing belt. But check for these two first.

What is the part that the actual thermostat sets in on a 93 honda accord 2.2 engine. Not the housing where the hose connects to. The part that the housing bolts to.

the engine block, I believe. REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. With the engine cold, drain the cooling system.
  2. Disconnect the radiator hose from the thermostat housing outlet. Fig. 1: Use a pair of pliers to compress the spring clamp, then slide it up the hose and disconnect the hose from the housing 86803039.jpg

  3. Remove the thermostat housing outlet and remove the thermostat. Fig. 2: Remove the nuts/bolts securing the thermostat housing . . . 86803040.jpg

Fig. 4: Once the housing is removed, the thermostat can be removed from the engine 86803042.jpg

  4. Using a putty knife, clean the gasket mounting surfaces. NOTE: If the thermostat is equipped with a pin valve, be sure to install the thermostat with the pin facing upward. To install:
  5. Install a new thermostat the gasket, O-ring or sealant (as applicable). Always install the spring end of the thermostat facing the engine.
  6. Tighten the thermostat cover-to-thermostat housing bolts to 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm).
  7. Connect the radiator hose to the thermostat housing.
  8. Fill, then bleed the cooling system. Check for leaks.

Car overheats got a theromstat how to replace it ita a 93 accord lx

the thermostat should be on the engine under a housing that connects the upper radiator hose to the motor. On most vehicles, you will need to take off the upper hose, have a small bucket to catch the radiator fluid, remove the two cover bolts, remove and take out your thermostat. make sure you use a new rubber seal on your new thermostat. also make sure the the spring end points toward the engine, re-assemble as you have taken apart. Good Luck!

My honda accord right side and third brake likgts are out and will not come back on

I have found specifically,on the Accord, and Preludes, that there is excessive corrosion, actually in the light housing due to humidity.
It just needs the contacts cleaning.
There ya go.
