There are relays to the fuel pump in the left area (near the master cylinder)of the engine compartment. Open the box and read the back of the cover. it will give you a schematic of the relays / fuses...replace the one associated with the fuel pump. hopefully that will solve the problem...

I put new fuel pump in & now it tries to start but won't still not enough fuel. Do u have to get air out of system?

To tell you that would need make ,model an year vehicle , so I could look at a wiring diagram . Rather then do that check at the fuel pump relay . Do you know what a relay is ? Watch this video , you can put power right through relay . It could have a fuel pump driver module .

No power in my fuel pump fuel relay for fuel pump

Get yourself a wiring diagram & study it & then
start testing the fuel circuit

How would you know whether you had power or
now power, to anything, working blindly?

You listen to what your told.
I wouldn't-- you may have changed a good fuel pump

I NEVER walk to any vehicle without a wiring diagram

How would you learn the system & the circuits, without one?

I have a 98 Camaro I put a fuel pump in fuel filter an my car still won't start.Do thank the gas line clog up?

If you know for a fact the pump is getting power and ground, and nothing is coming out of the line before the filter, then yes the line could be clogged up.

Isnt getting any power to the fuel pump

Should be a designated fuse for the power to the fuel pump I'm not familuar with this model but some vehicals with electric fuel pumps have a reset swich on the pump or under the hood on the fire wall.

No power to fuel pump

What you need to do is drop the fuel tank and put a new fuel pump in it. I would drain the gas and put new gas in after you get the pump changed.

fuel pump died replaced it truck ran poorly afterwards. Had a prussuer test done pump determend pump was no good. Put in another ran good for 2 days started running poorly hard to start no power. 2nd fuel pump. So i figure another bad new fuel pump wow changed it put in a third brand new fuel pump. Still will not eve start now. I had it tuned up 2 months ago new plugs rotor, cap, etc. put in a new fuel filter made sure it is on proper checked all connections for leaks. this cannot be a fuel pump problem now. no problem with the elctrical i figure i have great spark on ignition tester. I can hear the fuel pump prime when i turn the key. but when i went and checked the fuel port i had no pressure. When it is being cranked gas sews out of the test port. Also i dont if this is comon cause i used to turn my keyand go. but when i have someone turn the key and i listen at the gas tank whn the key is shut off i hear gs spraying back into the gas tank. So i am open for opinions.
