SOURCE: Diagnostic codes

744 is to do with your torque converter clutch circuit, intermittent malfunction. 325 is knock sensor malfunction. Has vehicle been shifting different, probably at highway speed? (cruising) Have you noticed engine "ping"/"rattle" on acceleration? These would be common occurences with these codes.

My Nissan quest 2004 won't accelerate in drive will in neutral then loses all power

if you have it in neutral then the car will not accelerate
just the engine will increase in rpms
if it is a manual and in gear and you increase engine rpm but the car is not moving, it is more that likely a clutch master cylinder or cable problem
if automatic , run the fault codes and check for a problem torque converter clutch servo/solenoid problem

2004 Nissan Quest After starting the engine, engine won't rev up when I pressed the accelerator pedal. But after 30 seconds or often times about two minutes, I can rev up the engine. But when I put it in...

You need to take this to a competent car repairer. It sounds like the fault may be one of the sensors or the mass flow meter. There is nothing you can do to fix this yourself.

Find a local trusted transmission repair shop, they will do a preliminary diagnosis in most cases for little or no cost if you give them the job of repairing the transmission, which I think needs to be overhauled judging by the symptoms it is presenting.

2000 Nissan Quest slow shift to third gear (automatic). What would you suggest

Why are you shifting?Use drive, reverse and park, changing gears makes it get slow in time, wearing your transmission out.

Iam getting a delay of a few seconds whenever i shift between neutral and drive or neutral and reverse on my 2007 nissan tiida cvt transmission.

Have the oil changed and the filter checked . I have a Mitsubishi lancer and it is in good nick but If I apply power before the shift happens it chirps the tyres . have the bands and clutch pack adjusted Run fault codes to check for faulty solenoids and servos.

Transmission???

It's hard to say for sure what the problem is, but there are a few things to consider. One, you may have a bad TCU (transmission control unit) - a friend has this issue on an Audi A4. You move the gear selector to put the car in gear, but the TCU isn't responding right and isn't doing what you tell it to do.

Another idea is that your transmission fluid is low or bad, or the filter is clogged. That's a fairly inexpensive and easy thing to take care of, and might not be a bad idea anyhow, seeing as how the car is just under 9 model years old.

A third possibility is that the sensors under the console where the shifter is mounted are bad, and aren't sensing when you move the gear selector. I'm not sure how to diagnose that other than to install new ones (or ones out of a salvaged car), but contact Nissan to see if their OBD2 diagnostics include chassis and powertrain fault scanning - if they do, they should be able to detect a code in the system that will point toward a faulty component.

Gear box Malfunction in the 2004 Nissan Quest... when in park, goes in reverse and in reverse, goes forward... what can this be?... Richard, Farmington, Michigan

Sounds like your shift cable has gotten out of sync, If this is the case, you take the shify cable loose from the link on transmission, then shift link to park position , then adjust cable to line up to the link and rehook. I don't know exactly how your set up looks but the procedure is the same on most cars.
