SOURCE: Replacing the front wheel bearings of a Honda Accord 1993 SE

yes you need a press to remove the bearing and hub , you can use the same hub as long as where the hub goes into the bearing is not scored in any way . the knuckle would have to be taken off and sent to a machine shop if you done have a press. and you should also use caution when putting the nut back on thr axle.

SOURCE: replacing front wheel bearings on a 1999 honda accord

there is a hub and a bearing assembly...usually you need to press the bearings into that hub...need a press to push out the old and press in the new...i replaced mine last year by going to the junkyard and taking out the hub and bearing assembly and just putting the whole thing into my car...much simpler..plus you learn how it goes together by taking it out in the boneyard..no press needed...plus if its genuine honda parts from a honda..(you can match the markings) its likely to be a very good part for a long time. Being used isn't always a bad thing as far as honda parts are concerned. This is from my own experience hope this helps you.

SOURCE: I need to change right front wheel bearing on 96 honda accord

It's not a easy job you will need a press to take the old one out and replace the new one, my advice to you is take the steering knockle out and have your local shop press the bearing out for you and put the new one in. This way you just have to bolt everything back up and your good to go.

What is the torque specs for the front wheel bearing/hub assembly nut on a 2002 ford mustang?

Wheel bearing don't have torque specs (to the best of my knowedge). They have a procedure - in this case it is....
1. With everything clean and packed with grease, snug the bearing lock nut until it stops.
2. Reverse it about 1/8th to 1/4 turn and insert the cotter pin.

I am replacing a rear wheel bearing and need torque specs for the spindal nut

I don't have a exact spec, but i've done this job several times. I always hand pack the bearings to make sure they're good and lubed, then I assemble the spindle turning the bearing while I'm tighting it down. I apply torque till there isn't any more play left in the spindle, usually no more than 15ft/lbs. then put the pin back in. if you're really worried assemble everything leaving the bearing cap off then try to wiggle it with the tire on if it moves just give it a little more. you just want it tight enough to remove all the play.
