What can cause my 1997 chevy cheyenne truck to smoke alot? Also it shakes alot when im parked but run good when i drive, can it be the idle control sensor that is the problem?

Fuel pressure regulator diaphram is probably ruptured.
Pull vacuum line from pressure regulator and if fuel is present, the regulator needs to be replaced.

1987 Toyota Camry. Idle doesn't drop. Stays very high. No clue why. Also goes through a lot of gas and found out muffler and catalytic converter aren't hooked up. Ideas of where to start?

check your vacume hoses and if iyt has an idle controll valve that is off of the air intake. that should be the only things that would effect it

Firstly, i am experiencing a lot of top ups on oil (1 pint/week). My car smokes a lot and the smoke is white and blueish like. My exhaust is so black and oil greasy residue and some oil is leaking through...

your idle problem is because your carb is missing somelines such as vacuum etc.
the reason your top up is increasing is because your car is burning oil hence the white/blue smoke.
you need your head gaskets changed and also get your mechanic to take a look at your O-rings (piston rings)

1994 ford e-150 idles too high. smells like gas too. 125k, otherwise clean & strong, 5.8, v-8.

first thing i would do is clean out the throttle body a lot of time carbon build up can cause the linkage to stick causing a high idle any carb cleaner works fine good luck
