I have had the bower flash 970c for a while now, and the other day i went to take a few pictures the flash fired twice and then stopped. I cannot get the flash to go off

This is a car forum, but here you go. If your comfortable with taking it apart, there are 1 or 2 big capacitors in it that build the charge to make the flash. Sometimes you see they are damaged(swollen top), sometimes not. Match them with the same voltage and farads.

A/C and Heater, Drivers side airbag light

For bower fan check:
- Speed controller assembly of blower fan.
- Wiring harness and fuse
- Blower fan.
To solve the air bag light problem retrieve the SRS error codes with the help of diagnostic computer and follow the description.
You can also check the error codes manually as described below.

Procedure:
Read the blinking patterns of the DTCs. As examples, the blinking patterns for the normal system code and DTCs 11 and 31 are shown in the following diagram. The first blinking pattern indicates the first digit DTC. The second blinking pattern occurs after a 1.5-second pause. If there are two or more DTCs, there is a 2.5- second pause between each DTC. After all DTCs are shown, there is a 4.0-second pause, and they are all repeated.
HINT:
• If 2 or more malfunctions are found, the indication begins with the lowest numbered DTC.

Bower motor or resistor only works sometimes

Problem is with the control unit in the dash. The fan switch needs to be replaced.

2003 Chrysler town & county-- bower fan sometimes comes on and some times it does not.

probably a bad switch. Does it help any to giggle the switch?

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6234839-doesn_t_heater_or_air_conditioner_blow . These are generic instructions.

Your switch is fairly easy to replace, but may be expensive as the whole control set is probably sold as a unit and only by the dealer.

If you get a new one, here is how to put it in:

There are 4 screws holding the bezel in--2 above the radio and 2 hidden below. You have to take out the cup holder to get to the bottom screws. See the following photos to get to them:

pull off this trim piece and remove the 2 screws underneath.

The cupholder bracket must come out to get the bezel out. First unclip the light, then both will come out.

In this last photo, you can see the control unit is screwed to the bezel. Pull the knobs off the front and unscrew the unit--it sould come off. Maybe you can troubleshoot it once it
