I have a 1988 Nissan Pulsar 1.6 L that loses acceleration until you release the gas pedal then returns when you accelerate again but then this cycle continues again multiple times. We changed throttle...

I would test for restricted exhaust this can be done by place a vacuum gauge on a intake manifold source. when problem occurs keep pedal steady and read the vacuum then slowly keep pressing on gas pedal if reading is ZERO and below you have a restriction.

Rough idle and jerky accelleration.

Sir, is it causing when shifting gears ? If yes, the main reason I can see is that you are not shifting the pressure at the right pace from the Clutch to Gas pedal. Take a test by trying shifting the pressure from the Clutch to Gas Pedal more slowly. Some mechanics explain ( including me ) that the car is just shifting. It is a common thing observed in Powerful Vehicles. Also note one thing. Try Slowly easing the clutch out as you reach fiction point and then accelerate. Also notice, the Fuel filter can be dirty. It can need cleaning.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
