Why do you need to take out the center console?
take off panel on gear shift, two hex screws near gear shift. it pops off, sounds like it's breaking, but its not.

Detach the clips (A, B) by pulling the center console box (C) up, and removing it from the center console (D).
Remove the screws (A, B) and clips (C), and remove the center console (D).
Install the console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items
