SOURCE: Hi. how do I replace the front right hub assembly

Take the wheel off. If you don't have an impact gun you'll need at least a long breaker bar to remove the axle nut in the center. It will be quite large. Once you have that loosened off, you can take the brake caliper assembly off and hang it off to the side as not to put strain on the brake hose. DO NOT open the brake system up, no need for that. Remove the rotor, you can now see the whole hub from the front. The bolt (3 or 4) will either be in from the front or the rear of the knuckle assembly. If they are from the front the hub will have one hole in it that is larger then the others. That is for a socket to fit through. Then when you have those out, I'm sure that the hub will have seated itself in nicely with rust. You might have to get a bit forceful with a hammer and cold chisel to remove it.
Good Luck!

use a hammer to tap on the head of the shaft to push it back out, put a small block of wood on it before hitting it so you dont mushroom the end or distort the threads.

Why does my 2006 GMC slt seiera baught at the end of the year wears out wheelbearings front I'm on my5th one since new this page wont let u select the right year.

Hello goldwingtazz,

One of the most common reason for repeated hub assembly failures is the use of the wrong hub assembly.

Technical Service Bulletin Number 08-03-08-003A addresses this problem. There were 7 different Gen II 4x2 and 4x4 applications and now Gen III have only 3 part numbers for the same application.

The new hub assembly will have a spline open center and this is acceptable

Proper torque is 133 ft. lbs the mounting bolt.

Regards,
netvan
