Question about 1993 Acura Legend
Sounds like you bent your axle. The smallest bend will put everything off balance. If the axle's not bent, I would say the cv joint is bad. Dam acuras and their ball joints

I do not know if there is a recall, you can call Honda and they will tell you. The repair will be a little expensive, rough cost, I don't know, is the drive shaft bent? are the control arms bent? disc damaged? brake lines? The ball joint was probably the failure component that caused this, I would say that the car was not well maintained before she purchased it. To minimize your repair cost I would consult a salvage yard, if needed for the control arms, the rest of the parts you may need should be readily availiable at your local parts store and should be replaced new or reconditioned.
Did you contact the seller? was it a dealer? if a dealer he should help with repairs.

Ball joints just dont "fall off". Ball joints should be easily available. I'm sure the dealer can get any part you need. You may need other pieces. Have a RELIABLE shop check it over, your life is at risk, dont try cheap fixes.
