Anitfreeze leak around the head side of a 93 cadillac fleetwood brougham

Leak is between the manifold and the head on the drivers side.

    i meant to say it was leaking around the INTAKE side of the head. no oil in the water i checked for that. so im thinking intake manifold gaskets?

Sounds like head gasket with the info given. check oil cold and antifreeze cold. Do you see traces of water in oil, or oil in water? I would get a coolant pressure test done to pin point it.

check the alternator fuse that can be a fuse link by the battery pole,check alternator voltage on the alternator red wire or connector,it should the same as on the battery ,check ground wires for loose intermitent contact

My 1996 Cadillac fleetwood brougham raidiator started lacking so I changed it and now it won't stop over heating I also changed the thermostat now it wasn't over heating befor I changed theses things


If this is a Northstar engine and it got really hot, they are bad about head gaskets leaking, and often the head bolts pull the threads out of the block. Check for exhaust gases in the radiator. If so, it can be fixed, but requires drilling out the engine block threads and tapping and installing nutserts.

i have a 1995 fleetwood brougham and when you open the doors inside lights dont work neather does any of the in side light work with doors closed even the ones on the mirror
