Question about 1995 Ford Thunderbird
You will need to check the alternator to confirm it is working, should be putting out 13.5 + volts. Another thing to check, with engine off, remove the positive battery cable from the battery and touch it to the battery post. If you get a lot of spark you have a short in the system somewhere that is drawing your battery down. It is normal to have a little spark because of you stereo memory, clock etc. If you find you have a major draw in the system the first component I would check would be the starter. Disconnect the wires from the starter and see if you still have the draw.

it is part of the alternator actually on a lucas unit, a small black box bolted to the rear of the alternator.
You may have a faulty ignition switch or a corroded engine earth cable causing the alternator not to reach charging voltage.

If it is going down after it is parked ,then it has a draw on the electrical system,or if it is going down as it is driven, then the large output wire on the back of the alternator is not getting to the battery,if needed, run a wire ,along with the original wire from the back of the alternator,to the battery to get it to charge.Other wise ,the system has a draw, pulling voltage from the battery with the car not running.
