SOURCE: removing a speed limiter from a vauxhall combo cdti van

The speed-limiter is likely to be enabled via the ECU. Removing the limiter is a five-minute job if you have access to the GM Tech 2 electronic management/diagnostic tool.

If the van is yours then there's no legal requirement for the limiter. You could just book it in at a Vauxhall dealer for the limiter to be removed. They may charge you for an hour's labour though. Still worth doing in my opinion.

I have fitted new doors to my Combo van but when I have shut them they will not open on the key or by the handle!! Doh! Can anyone help?

Get the AA or RAC to get you in. You need the key to the new doors, or swap the locks from the doors you had.

There are a number of YouTube videos showing ho to break into your own vehicle.

VAUXHALL combo cdti,17,000cc,only starts off starter when cold, never when hot!will only bump off when warm, also spanner light on 70 % of time when driveing, constanly cuts out while driveing, will only

Never ignore warning lights. The spanner light is the cpu telling you that maintenance is required on the engine. Suggest you have the fault codes read asap. It could be that the timing belt has to be replaced.
