Boritz2: there are several speed sensors on this vehicle, so I will give you the locations of all of them due to the fact that I don't know which one you are seeking.
There are speed sensors located at each wheel to work with the ABS unit.
On the trans-axle, on the driver's side near the top of the transmission.
I hope this has been helpful to you.
Is there a reason you are looking for the speed sensor?

It is on the head on the oppsite side of timing belt 2or3 in down on the end of head. You will see it. This coolant sensor is for the computer not the gauge. Thanks TIM

I was hit head on the front frivers side at 30mph. I have trouble with it starting and the service engine soon light is on. I have a 2005 Nissan Altima. The collision repair place is owned by a Nissan dealership and they are telling me it is a crankshft sensor. How does the car wreck effect this? Where is the crankshaft sensor at on my nissan. Yes, I am a girl, so I am trying to learn things as I go. Any help answers will be much appreciated. Thank you please respond to firstname.lastname@example.org.
