These bulbs have dual filaments your "dip" filaments - you need to replace the globe / globes.

    Most cases you should be able to replace the globes. Your owners manual will should have a list. Without a make or model cannot really comment further.

Where is dipped bulb

in your headlight you have side light a dipped light and a main beam normally the one bulb has your dipped light and your main beam sometimes the dipped light can go and you need to change the bulb ,even though the main beam maybe ookay

Headlights won't work, fullbeam is fine, but dipped will not function. Any clues please......

most likely bulbs burnt may have been driving around wiyh one light for a while then other one went out

Gitting gti lights

The wiring is different, if your Golf had headlights with H4 bulbs then changing to high beam turns dip off. The GTi has separate dip and high lights, on high beam dip stays on (all 4 bulbs on).

Pasenger headlight doesnt work, it's not the bulb & both fullbeam & sidelights work ?

Have you checked the fuse?? if the fuse is ok its possible the fuse holder

this is normal as far as i am aware, i have the same problem and went to the ford dealer, they werent sure so they rang the mazda dealer (ford escape is basically a mazda tribute) i was told that this was normal.
