Question about 2000 Mazda 626
How do I change the tail light bulbs on a Mazda 626 (2000)
The Tail Lights Are Accessed From The Inside Of The Trunk There Will Either Be A Panel Immediately Behind Where The Light Is Or Carpet. Remove It And It Will Give You Access To The Rear Of The Bolts Just Grab Twist And Pull And The Light Will Come Out.

On the 2001 Mazda 626 LX, I used a ajustable wrench to unscrew the nuts holding the light fixture in. First you remove a plastic pannel that goes across the back of the trunk. Then you remove the carpeting from the hooks it is suspended on. Next, you unscrew the four nuts that hold the light fixture in place. Then you can carefully remove the fixture, and have access to the sockets for your lights. Next, unscrew the plug for the lights and replace the bulbs. Reverse the steps and then your set. Hope this helps someone!
