Question about 1985 Toyota Celica
I have 158,000 miles on it and have nothing but problems with this car since I bought it in April 08. I know old cars need fixing .. but I have spent $1900 on it already in 8 months and bought it for $1700.. now have a recurring problem from the fuel system .. its accelerating kinda slow.. and I have done the tune-ups, and just recently did distributor, and i was told it needs motor mounts as well as its fly-wheel missing a a few tereth.. Does this hurt the car? Im tired of spending $$$$$ on it every month. Should I sell it? And if so, How much? I live in Vegas and dont know what to do. HELP!
It was recently painted white when I bought it and its got a brand new cold switch, sensor switch, radiator, starter, tires, you name it I done it. I also fixed the electrical problem with a relay switch to the starter? Could this be the problem?
I may sell it.. I was told these type cars are good for race cars.. becuase the motors are good. Is this true?
