Question about 1998 Ford Windstar
I randomly have to use my obd11 scanner to reset my 1998 ford windstar's computer to improve drive ability. I did it the other day shortly b4 going through a emission test. The emission test must have sensed that the computer had just been reset so it said that it couldnt even be tested, I was informed that because it was reset there is a certain amount of drive time that is recomemnded to do prior to going through an emission test. If anyone has some specific knowledge about this issue, or just knowledge regarding obd11 code po345 would be a big help.
YOUR EMS MUST RE LEARN. THIS WILL TAKE 3 TO 5 COLD STARTS AND SOME CITY AND HWY DRIVING

U have a problem in the transmission torque converter clutch control circuit, most likely the solenoid switch that applies the lock up clutch of the torque converter is defective or a the torque converter itself is defective, the trans pan will need to be removed to check the problem further.

It's going to have to be looked at. But you can try unlocking a different door with the key. Hold it to the left (unlock position) for 2 or three seconds. Should shut off the alarm and allow you to start it.
