Question about 2003 Ford Expedition
2003 expedition starts up and shuts off it wont stay on?
Did you pull off battery cables without saving memory from computer chip, you just lost the whole memory from the microprocessor chip. It shuts down because it doesn't have any command memory that tells the sensors for the fuel pump, fuel injectors, and all sensors that are suppose to be running normally are receiving a " miss firing " command from the microprocessor, so when you start up your car it will shut down from the command from the on board computer(fuel pump, fuel injectors, timing ratio) that all work on SENSORS from each different modules in your ford. You have to find a OBD 1or 2 engine analyzer to restore your "BACK TO LIFE" memory codes to get the car back online and probably will have to run your car 3x from 0 to 60 on the freeway no braking stops, so your computer can remember the "BACK TO LIFE" memory and restore the car to normal conditions. Go to ford website and look under TROUBLE SHOOTING. That's it my friend!!!!!! ALOHA
