Rear engine seal leaks

no year, no series and worse no engine type.
not really. some makers have sleeves for crank journal.
but you can short stroke any seal.
put in in 90% bingo. (tricky to get it straight, no lie)

is it really leaking
on one car, i find the dizzy base leaks, and down bell, and finds this funny (who;s laughing) vent, and down back side of engine.
and looks al the worlds, rear main leaks.
seen it many times. or the like. even rear valve cover leaks. blink blink.

Oil leak front engine timing chan

1995 Tracker would have a timing BELT. Normal oil leak points (in order) on a Suzuki G16 engine are the distributor base (rear of motor), valve cover (top of motor), front main seal (behind lower timing belt cog) cam seal (behind the upper timing belt cog) and rear main seal. (behind the flywheel). I'd suspect the front main seal or cam seal. I use foot power to help find oil leaks.

Replace rear main seal in engine

To do this job, you pull the trans, and frywheel. Rear main seal is fairly UNcommon. Most oil leaks wind up manifesting in the rear main seal area. Check other areas first, like valve cover and intake gaskets.

Rear main seal Ford 1995 Econoline E-150 Repair Manual

I doubt the manual would help on this issue. FIRST, be certain it is the rear main seal. EVERYTHING that leaks winds up there...Way more common is intake and valve cover leaks, and they drip at rear main area...

If rear main is the issue, you have to pull the trans for access.

If you were to replace a rear main seal on a 1995 honda accord (with a vtech 4 cylinder engine) do you have to remove the transmission in order to install?

Yes, the seal has a pressed fit and is bolted on te rear of the engine, in fact all japanese cars do that, keeps them from leaking for a long time.
