You have to drop the fuel tank to do this.

What makes the fuel pump not kick on on a 92 Oldsmobile Cutlass

There is a red wire close to the battery in the front. It's not connected to anything. Apply positive voltage and that will run your pump for testing purposes.

How to remove fuel tank and replace fuel pump on 1994 oldsmobile cutlass supreme

If it is more than half full, you need to syphon as much gas out as possible, disconnect the hoses, filler neck, and straps to drop the tank.
There is a large ring you turn to gain access to the pump where the fuel lines go into the top of the tank.

1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme won't start

ok first shoot one little shot of gasoline in the throttle body or in the air cleaner to see if it will start up . If so it is a fuel problem .. Than I want you to try and turn on the Key and go to the rear of the car and crawl under the car and hit the gas tank as hard as you can with your fist.. this only sometimes works it might wake up the electric fuel pump and then try to see if it is picking up by starting the car.. also you might try it several times like hit it like your mad at it.. only use your hand not a hammer or anything damaging .. then try to start the car .. if it starts and runs you are soon going to need a new fuel pump... thanks jerry holler if you need more...
