Question about 1990 Plymouth Voyager

1 Answer

No spark I can't get any spark from the ignition coil . I've changed the coil, checked the distributer cap, but no power is getting to the coil, everything appears to be connected properly. What am I missing? Is there an ignition module or a computer component somewhere?

Could be a bad coil or igniter. Check voltage to the coil and check for spark from the coil while cranking.

Not getting any spark from the coil

Check to make sure you have power to it, and that is it hooked to the Disturbitor cap, and if they are ok, replace the coil.

DId you check your distributer out? Not the Cap but the main distributer itself.

Not getting spark

check to see if you have an ignition control module. also check any fuses for ignition related items both in power distribution center and fuse block under dash. Don't forget to have codes read if possible It's a big help.

Cant get any spark

You're not getting spark out of the ignition coil? Do you have power to the coil? What about ground? If you have spark from the coil to the distributer, but nothing coming out of the distributer, then check your cap and rotor.
