Hi there I'm looking for some advice I have a Nissan pulsar 2000 no heat from the heater and car keeps overheating while driving I be flushed the radiator and heater core, replaced the thermostat

Crazy but have you put thermostat back in correct way? If so sounds like an air blockage. Fill radiator, leave cap off, put internal heater on hot and run engine until water is fully hot. Both top and bottom radiator hoses are hot. Sometimes therenis a bleed screw near the engine compartment bulkhead that needs opening to let trapped air out. If you have drained and refilled system and it only happened after that guarantee air lock. Good lick, let me know how you went plead.

A t hot temp subaru forester 1998

A car running hot can be of many causes. Thermostat can be checked by removing and place in boiling water thermostat should open when water reachs temp, hole in hoses hoses will expand when they become hot so a pinhole will open and beome lager when hoses heat, enginge needs flushing a lot of rust and dirt in anti freeze will cause the car not to run correctly, and water pump going bad. Also heater core however I would flush engine before replaceing heater core as it may become clogged.

I have a 96 sl saturn. takes half an hour for my car to reach running temp. When i start driving the engine cools down so far, to the point i have no hot air for my heater. I replaced the thermastat, i...

replace the thermostant again this time get a hotter temp thermostant and buy it from the dealer, the other thing is that these cars are known for the temp sensors being bad this would give you the false reading on the gauge but would not affect the heat, if its taaking a long time then i would replace the stant and this time or before replacing the stant i want you to flush out the heater core, remove the hoses from the heatercore and use a water hose to flush water through the heater core, a plugged core will not throw heat or will start to allow water to flow when it gets good and hot to flow through the retricted core due to rust and crud, try the flush first and then try a new temp sensor if the flush helps the heat, hope this is helpful good luck.

water pump needs replacing. The temp sensor in the motor is reading way hot but since pump isn't truning not moving coolant around to heat air coming into vechile.

possible air in your system you need to bleed air out of your system make sure heater valve is open and radiator cap open when car is cold take all air out and fill as needed

Heater will not blow warm air, only blows cool air even when the engine is warmed up

Sounds like the thermostat is jammed, I would replace it anyhow for how much it will cost, or possibly the heater matrix, thats the small radiator inside the car behind the dash that takes the hot water in and the fan then blows the heat through the vents, this may be blocked doubtful though more likely the thermostat be careful driving the car in case it overheats and blows the gasket.

It could just be air locked, meaning if you have topped the water up lately or put anti freeze in it it has pulled some air in the water system, much like your house heating you will have to bleed it.

98 chevy cavalier 2.2 L heater problem

hello.....
first in this problem you need to look for cheapest things to do which is start with you thermostat abd make sure its open and close by how much temp inside the eng. then u need to feel the input hose and the output hose which they come from the heater core they should have closely same temp . if there is non of them have any heat thats mean the water pump blower is broke and u have to replace the water pump, if one of the heater core hose hot and the other cold the problem in the heater core , about the A/C light is on the A/C comprasser shoul work with the heat becuase hot air + cold air = dry air which u need for ur front DEF
