Crunching in rear of car

I have a 94 plymouth acclaim that has been making this crunching noise in the rear when I brake. It doesn't make the noise every time I brake. Most times I hear the noise when I haven't driven it for a day or two. I'll start my car and will be going slowly out of my driveway and as I come to a stop the horrible crunching occurs. After a little bit of driving the crunching will cease. It's been running this cycle for a bit, and I'm not sure what is wrong. Any thoughts?

Why would my 94 Plymouth Acclaim 2.5, 4 cylinder die while I'm making a left turn?

sounds like it could be the sock filter on the bottom of the fuel pump has come off, its purpose is to keep fuel in the sock at the pickup tube so it won`t suck air. when the sock comes off fuel will pull away from the tube allowing this to happen. will happen more when the fuel level is between almost empty and 1/2 a tank.

94 Plymouth acclaim speedometer and dash lights wont work

Try replacing light bulbs and flasher which may correct the turn signals. Check all fuses, however as for the speedometer, the plastic clogs or wheels have run their course, If you intend to replace these, suggest you purchase a repair manual for your vehicle.
