Book time at the dealer is about three hours.You need1/4 drive 7mm.swivel socket long and short exstensions rachet to take off every indervidual coil. they are on top sides of motor good luck!

Engine will turn over but not start. Do smell gas when turning over.


you have to check for spark at the plug wires,if you have spark try giving it a little gas sometimes when the iac (intake control valve) sticks it will not start,if it starts this way change the valve.

1998 F150, 4.2L V6 not firing on one side; just replaced plugs and wires. Any ideas


Check the spark plugs which is the check wrong with these pickups the coil gives up cable cable problem in the coil and a spark that really is the best test and if all works well you maybe have any problem injector.

What year is the truck ? if its a 1998 im sure its never had a tune up i would start with replacing the spark plugs and there is a very good chance that a coil is also bad
