Welcome to FixYa. Let me assist you:

The coil is under the distributor cap.
Replace the coil, I'll bet that it is bad.
This is a very common failure item on that particular engine.

Thanks for chosing FixYa for assistance. The graciousness of a FixYa raring for my help to you would be greatly appreciated. Thnaks in advance.

My 2014 dodge avenger was in a flood won't turn over no water in oil or fluids but air filter wet. Battery, lights, windows and locks work fine. Do I have spark plugs and distributor cap?

Yes you have spark plugs, No you don't have a distributor cap, With the air filter being wet you might have water in on top of one of the pistons and it stops the engine from turning over. Remove the spark plugs and rotate the engine with the starter to eject any water off the top of the pistons re-install the plugs and try starting it

2007 jeep liberty won't start-turnover. Not the starter or battery. Have power

If your battery is charged up and you know its not the starter check all the battery cable connections. Check and see if the ends where they fasten on the battery is not corroded and must be tight. dirty and loose cables will not let the power from your battery to the starter. Do the same for the cables on the starter and also the ground. My cables on my Le saber looked ok but I could not even boost from another car. We replaced the both cables and Bingo away we go.
If that's not the problem check the switch as it might be burnt out as well but Its cheaper to check the cables first.

How would a ignition output signal stop my 1995 honda accord from starting?

The motor turning over & cranking---- is one in the same

You have a :
NO CRANK or a NO START !!!

You checked fuel pressure at the motor
You checked for spark or injector pulse
The battery is good-you tested it

Now tell use about the loss of ignition output

Where is all that coming from--in detail

Have to crank sensor scoped

Is the ignition switch worn out ?

Car won't crank

No parts are ever replaced to resolve any vehicle issues

You have to proper test any vehicle systems that apear
to have a problem

Once all the answers are present, only then do parts get
installed if necessary

Things such as fuses & relays only fail here on these web site
blogs, for the most parts, way too much silly talk about nothing

Need to have the car at a repair shop that actually can diagnose
something

From what I see on this site from people asking questions,
that appears to be an issue also, finding a half decent shop
these days

Gets gas gets spark but don't start. new fuel

1. does it turn over? if so, strong, or weak? 2. did you replace the fuel filter? 3. coil packs, or distributor (pack(s) can be tested) if distributed check cap and rotor, replace coil, but first check starter relay - 4. Check all ignition fuses, starter fuse - (along with relay{above}) 5. Check all connections from battery - positive, negative etc.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

1984 Ford F150 turning over but not getting fire

Good battery, good starter. Leaves spark and fuel.
1. Remove 1 spark plug wire from a plug. Hold near engine block while someone "cranks" the engine.
- Spark (yes/no)
If yes, issue is fuel. If no, remove distributor cap and check for cracks. Also clean inside to remove rust and dirt. Besure that inside of distributor cap is reasonably clean and rust free. After that, reinstall cap.
Try to start engine. IF it is exactly same symptom.....
Check input voltage to coil (high voltage source for distributor). Is 12volts present? If not, troubleshoot wiring between battery source and coil. Be sure to include the fuse for "ignition" in fuse box.
If yes.....Confirm high voltage is present at center (input) wire to distributor (CAUTION:- 30,000 volts could be present... do NOT touch bare wire.) Use insulated plyers or similar to place this center wire near engine block to check for spark. Note that this voltage source is powered on as soon as the ignition key is in the "run" position.

Replace coil if no high voltage is coming out. Replace distributor cap and rotor if high voltage is coming in to it, but not leaving and getting to spark plugs.

-------------
Confirm fuel is getting to intake.
I spray starting fluid into intake while cranking engine. It will "fire" if all else is good.
If it "pops" or fires, then you have a fuel feed problem... between tank and intake manifold, shoot fuel filter, fuel pump and otherwise confirm that gas is moving to intake from gas tank.

Good luck.

My car wont start its a oldsmobile alero 1999

if car wont start.make sure your battery volts are 12.5.if not charge battery.or replace it if dont hold a charge.if battery is good engine wont turn over.make sure battery cables is clean and tight if all good no start .have starter and starter solenoid check.if battery and starter is good.check for fuel .has some one turn ignition to the on position.go to rear of car listen for fuel pump noise.if your hear fuel pump check ignition system for spark.go to auto parts place buy a spark tester.if you get no spark .check .ignition fuses and ignition module.if you hear no fuel pump.replace relay or fuse.if if fuse and relay good replace fuel pump.if every thing good .your car could have crank sensor problem. or your car is in theft deterrant mode.if so have your car towed in and scanned.
