Kinda vague.
Check oil level.
Check coolant level.
Both effect heating.

Fine the engine is heating and you say leak under van. What is the leak, is it water/ coolent/ oil or what?
is it possible to know where the leak is coming from?

If the heater valve operate properly then the line to the heater core is plug.
Check & replace or flush.

No heat in my 2003 Honda Odyssey van.


It sounds like to me that you thermostat is not working if your van is not over heating or if you don't see water poring out of the motor and your van still runs its not a cracked head

Heat is not working and van over heats when idling


first see if the fan turns on near the raideator it should turn on with the ac on then look for a blown head gasket auto parts stores have a tester kit to test it

there are several probable cause it may be a fuse blown, resistor block which you can check for continuity or a blower motor prob.These things need to be checked one at time

My 2000 Montana does not blow out heat. A month after we bought the van we realized there was no heat. After a while it started over heating. We replaced the thermostat and fixed the cracked head gasket...


some of tose vans have bleeder plug you have to bleed the system some on the thermostat housing some on top of water pump it si 7 mill socket to bleed it

You have an air pocket trapped in the cooling system. This is pretty common on this vehicle due to the fact the heater core sits higher in the vehicle than the top of the radiator.
To correct this jack the front of the vehicle up or park it on an incline. Remove radiator cap then run it until hot,run rpm up to about 1500 and watch bubbles in radiator then top it back up with coolant until u see a steady flow thru radiator.
