TYPICALLY this could be because the air bags are leaking and caused your compressor to overwork itself to death. The airbags are not designed to withstand temperatures below 40 degrees and above 94 degrees. Can you believe that!?!? Dry rot starts forming on the inside fold of the bag making it very difficult to detect with the soapy water test. Anyways.. i went through all these problems and several hundred dollars before I finally decided to convert to a passive coil spring system. I got it from Strutmasters.com with a lifetime warranty. http://www.strutmasters.com/mercedes-s-500-suspension-s/112.htm I have been riding on them for about 8 months now and am very pleased so far! I actually now PREFER the coil spring ride to the air ride and was surprised at just how comfortable the ride was. Hopefully you won't have to go through as much money and heartache as I did before I went for a more permanent solution. By the way, my shop only charged me an hour per wheel to install the kit so it was pretty cheap on labor too!!!!

Reset air shock

If you have seen lower back several times but the car raised by itself before, then you have to replace air spring. I replaced those with Arnott air spring.
If you had this problem for the first time, your air spring will be fine. If you have 4 corners air spring and the front one blows air in and out, your pump is okay.
Then I will first replace air suspension relay which costs $30. And you will have to check air hose connection. Finally you could try to replace air pump.

2001 mercedes s500 air ride suspension problems compressor, just replace compressor the old one stopped. Now the new one won'y go off. what should I do to get it to go off the correct way?

Usually when they stop working it is because they have burned out from running too much due to a leak. Sometimes the leak is on the pump itself at the older T line fitting on the side. If it is the new one with the updated line and it is still running, chances are there is a leak somewhere and that is why it continues to run. It could also be the relay. Usually when I replace the pump, I replace the relay as well. Try a new relay, if it continues after that, you will need to have it properly diagnosed by someone familiar with the airmatic system.

1998 crown vic air suspension compressor does not pump.

Sounds like the problem is in the air bag suspension, not the compressor. The air bags shouldn't be losing air when the car sits. The compressor adjusts the suspension level according to the load. The air bags have a valve similar to a blow up raft that allows air to pass through both ways. If when the car is running the compressor is constantly running and not turning off, the issue is within the air bags and/or the air line.

My 2001 S500 Suspension would lowers the cas when it sits over night but would raise the car once started. now it wont raise the car at all. help please @#!

May be just a fuse for pump, but you obviously have a small leak somewhere that is causing it to drop when pump off. Once you get pump working again, grab a spray bottle with water and a squirt of dish soap in it & spray all your lines & fittings & look for bubbles.

Stop the car is too low... i rise it.. but 10 km and again stop

you have a leak in your airmatic suspension system. scn car for codes to see what component is leaking. usually it is one or bothof the front air springs where the line connects in the upper fender well. you can try jacking the car up and spray soapy water on the line connection-you will probably hear it anyways. they tend to leak when the suspension is unloaded, either way i would check the whole system to be safe

S500 AC not working

Hello
Probably short on AC gas , as if law on AC gas the compressor would not work as a compressor protection mode. Check if AC gas is low and pressure test for leaks
