SOURCE: Problem with my 2007 Toyota FJ cruiser trailer light connection

There are two fuses for the tail light circuits. That bare wire caused a short, which popped the fuse for the trailer lights circuit. Look at the fusebox under the hood, and you will be able to fix it.

SOURCE: when i plug a trailer

You shouldn't need the license plate lights to work to make your trailer lights work. Chances are that there is an issue with the wiring it's self. On my father 94 pick up the wiring is spliced directly in the taillight wiring. If your taillights work there shouldn't be an issue with the trailer lights. Start by checking or remounting the ground wire attached to the wiring harness. If that isn't the issue test the input of the harness followed by the output. If there is input but no output you need to replace the harness. Try the CURT 55379 you can purchase this by visiting one of their retailers by clicking here.

Where is the trailer light fuse control on a 2007 Ford Expedition

As trailer lights are run off the existing wiring of the vehicle then those vehicle fuses control the wires and circuits for the trailer. If you have a problem with trailer lights then check the wires and connections in the trailer plugs.

Toyota land cruiser 2007

no symptoms. ?
ill pretend, USA> series.100, 2007
its here.

the fuse is marked TAIL. (im in the above DB now)

The BCM controls the relay. directly
there are at least 3 fuse boxes, JB. on drivers left toe and one pass. right toe.... USA, LHD.

the wring varies if you have DRL (canada law)
or other options. eg. trailer light package?
the Tail relay drives 3 paths, and 3 fuses. sorry, its complex.
TAIL15a , PANEL 7.5a and TOW, fuse 30a
and are on diffr, fuse boxes...
ill guess at TAIL fuse. 15a

all 3 are in the bottom right corner of the engine bay left fuse
box. just to left of STARTER relay.

Trailer light fuses can not be located

Open your hood, on the driver side of the engine compartment is your fuse panel, take off the larger black cover, and look under the lid, you should have a diagram which has trailer/towing on the right side and left side. Each side takes one 15amp Blue Mini Fuse.

2007 Tacoma Tail light problem.

Check the taillamp fuse on the truck. If it is blown, you either have a short in the wiring of the camper, or the 7 pin inverter box on the camper.
