How to reset to read the mileage on a chevy silverado 2500 hd

If you have 4 infotainment buttons to the left or right of you wheel, a check mark, a list, a vehicle button and one other, click the top button and watch the cluster, you will figure it out there, use the check mark to reset your mileage. If you do not have these buttons, use the center push stick button on the cluster to reset and twist to navigate through the options. If twisting doesnt work, try pressing the button in to navigate and press and hold tor reset.

Why does't my horn work?

  1. Check for +12v at the relay output when the horn button is pressed.
  2. If no voltage at the output when the horn button is pressed, check for voltage at the input.
  3. If no voltage at the input, check the fuse.
  4. If there is voltage at the output, check the chassis ground for the horn and, if chassis ground is good, replace the horn itself.

My kia idles fast and won't shift

If your Kia is automatic on the shifter is a large button that is your lock release button you press that button to shift down.

Right below that is your lock button to lock your transmisson into what ever gear it is set at that time to release it press that lock button again.

It is there to use to work like a manual in slippery conditions to help slow you down on a steep hill or just slippery conditions.

If that is not the problem check for leaks from transmission underneath and check your fluid level
the dip stick is located toward the right side of engine toward the back

The indication of a leak normally the transmission fluid is red in color so be looking for that type of color under your vehicle.

Transmission is difficult because everything is internal but some transmisson shops will check pan underneath for next to nothing to check for discoloration or for bearings or metal shavings

hopefully it is just the lock button.

If your kia is manual there is a whole host of problems then it could be a bent rod the tourqe converter the spring or bearings that will have to be checked by a Transmission's specialist.

If your Air Bag light light is aluminated and The Cruise Control does not Work then the Problem is in the "CLOCK SPRING" this Component is Located Under the Steering Wheel and it requires the Steering Wheel to Be Removed. You Must have Complete Instructions on this Procedure or Injury Can Be the result.
