Plugged fuel filter or fuel injectors or bad fuel pump, try fuel injector cleaner if it runs at all,but it will take time for it to work,if not that, then change your fuel filter,it should be under your car on your fuel line coming from your gas tank, other wise it could be under your hood, without having the haynes repair manual for it you will just have to look for it,if its your fuel pump you might have to drop the tank to get at it or see if you can access it under your back seat,or you might have a fuel pump reset switch, either in glove box or trunk, you will just have to check for one because like i said without the manual its guess work

2000 jaguar xj8 intermitant fuel problem

You are dealing with a intermittent fuel pump problem can be the pump itself or bad connections. Here is the main concern for the fuel pump to turn on the ECM must recieve a RPM signal from the crank position sensor this signal must be recieved at the ECM greater than 250 RPM if it is not the fuel pump will not turn on. The use of a labscope works here or a generic scan tool with live data will show this. This problem necessarily gives engine codes.

Car runs but wont accelerate. Idles very rough, And when you try to accelerate it dies.

Your car is not recieving fuel to the engine, hence the stalling. Check and replace both the fuel filter and fuel pump.

Car will not start no fuel getting thru checked fuel line and fuse

if you are not recieving any fuel from the gas tank to the engine, i would check the fuel pump relay located in a black box under your hood located on the drivers side, if your fuel pump relay checks out ok, then i would check the fuel filter, located under car, near the gas tank, question is has the fuel filter been changed, in a while , or how long has it been since it has been changed, if filter is changed, and still no fuel to engine, then i would suspect the fuel pump, and it is located inside of your fuel tank under the car, hope that this information has helped you.

I paid yesterday for my question i recieved about the 1987 dodge aries 2.2 motor k series didt recieve an answer? the car cranks up but dost start

Check to see if it's fire or fuel. Take one spark plug wire off and put on spare new plug, Place spark plug on engine where the tip is grounded against block and while someone trys to start car check to see if there is spark arcking between tip and insulator on plug. it,s best to do this in the dark. if it sparks, try putting a little gas in intake then try to start if it starts or trys to start, yo know it's a fuel problem. Change fuel filter first, f no change check fuel pump. If no spark check ballast resister on firewall or fender

Yes, the fuel injectors recieve constant battery voltage and the onboard computer controls the ground circuit by providing pulses measured in milli-seconds. Have you checked engine compression?

Car starts and cuts out after 2 to 3 seconds. fuel

When the ignition switch is turned on the pcm turns on the fuel pump by energizing the fuel pump relay. The PCM keeps the fuel pump on as long as the engine is cranking over or running. It does this by recieving pulses from the ignition module. If there are no referance pulses the PCM will turn the fuel pump relay off in 2 seconds with the ingnition on.

Most models also include a secondary control path through the oil presure switch witch will turn the fuel pump on after it detects oil presure.cranking time will be longer if the fuel pump doesn't recieve current until oil presure switch contact is closed.

2000 SL2 wont start

Need to do a compression test to see if all 4 cylinders are operating properly. A loss of engine power is usually a result of wear on internal engine rings and seals.
