Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Stereo speker works sometime, but when damp out it doesnt
Possible broken wire between door and body. May be dirty knob in radio. You can spray with crc electronic cleaner and rotate back and forth. Spray the rod not the button. Check for broken wires. Connector may be bad inside door also.

SOURCE: 2005 ford freestar power door
You need to order an "actuator" and install it, or go to the Ford dealer (or your trusted mechanic) and have the actuator replaced. The actuator is a solenoid that locks an unlocks the door latch. You can do it yourself if you are willing to take your door panel off and slice up your knuckles a bit.
These things have been a source of revenue for Ford for all models for many years. They just wear out too soon under normal use.
Both my 2004 Freestar side door actuators stopped working (intermittently at first) withing 2 months of each other in 2007. I ordered them from Bob Utter Ford (1-800-259-3560), for $42 each plus $9 shipping. See if your Ford dealer can match that before you order.

Open the door panels and lube all of your lock mechanisms. They tend to get stuck and it harms the locking motor. After I lube mine up, they freely move. Just spray some lithium grease and manually lock and unlock the door with the rocker until it moves very easily. You'll probably have to do this once a year like I do.
