The horn relay is in the distribution panel under the hood.

    SEE PAGE 130.

It is a 15A RELAY not a fuse located in position 19.

The cruise control fuse is inside the vehile. It is in position 28 and is 15A.

If both of these fuses are good... you have damaged the vehicles ECU or PCM (computer) and it will need to be replaced.

i call b/s you have no idea what your talking about damaging the pcm ? the horn isn't controlled by the pcm its more than likely a bad connection between the steering column and the steering wheel its self if it is not a fuse! don't listen to these people they have probably never turned a wrench in there life.. but thanks for the great laugh on that one.

Where is fuse for cruise control?

Fuse #19 (15 amp) controls the cruise control. It also powers the horn so check your horn. If it works then check the cruise controls ground. If the fuse is good BUT the horn still doesn't work, then check the horn relay, as it also powers the cruise control. Check all wires/connections going to these parts also.

Why wont the cruise control work on a 2005 ford taurus but the cruise light comes on

The first thing to check is the tail lights. The cruise control will not work if any lights are out. Changing to LED tail lights also causes the cruise to not work.

The car horn as well as the cruse control is inop. and im trying to find out what fuse is for what and haveing no luck.

The owner's manual will have a fuse box diagram for both fuse boxes. If you don't have the owner's manual a dealership will usually let you look at a diagram or possibly even print one off for you. There may also be a diagram on the fuse box itself or on the fuse box cover. There is also a horn relay that may be bad but that won't affect the cruise control. Please rate this answer, thanks.

2005 ford taurus horn just doesn't work. I've

The problem can be with the horn pad, the horn relay or the horn itself. Find your horn relay, it should be in the engine compartment fuse box. Remove the relay and test for power at the legs. there should be two legs that have power. If there is power there, take the cover off the relay and plug it back in. Squeez the relay points together and see if the horn works. If the horn still does not work, it is probably the horn itself. If it does work it is probably the horn pad, but you don't want to mess with that because of the air bag. Let a pro do it.

All of this is predicated on the fact that you have checked all the fuses.

Hope this helps

1988 Ford Crown Vic Lost Cruise Control

Although I don't think the cruise is an issue for safety, reach in under hood , or in grille area and find your horn(s) and just pull the connector off them temporarily, so they won't blow & put fuse back in and see if cruise starts to work again. It's not unusual for circuits to be labeled wrong or not at all in fuse panels. Then you can turn your attention to horn problem.

Horn on my 1999 Ford Taurus

does your cruise control work? the reason is that there is a what is called a clockspring harness in the sterring wheel under the airbag, if your airbag light is flashing chances are this harness is broke and will need to be replaced,  The airbag, horn, and cruise control all go throught this clockspring harness.
