Question about 2006 Dodge Sprinter
Battery light came on at 65mph when slowed down to about 20 it would go out, did this several times but now it is on all the time.I had the alternater changed several months back and they put a 160 amp alt in,is this alt to much? this is just a high top long wheel base cargo van.
Tell the dealer to check the regulator. Had the same problem in my 06. We tried the regulator first and it solved the problem. Same me quite a bit of money since I didn't have to replace the alternator.

SOURCE: gauges and odometer don't work
unfurtanetely the the board is burned out due to moisture on the wiring, you may have to replace the board but keep in mind that the wiring must be dry.

First problem, the starter may be starting to go, the second problem is a courtesy light switch problem in one of doors, most likely the sliding door.

The Problem was that the plug-in that goes into the altenator was not getting a good conection. Drove the van after that I had it fixed and the battery light came back on and I checked the altenator and the plug-in had fallen completly off. Plugged it back in and made sure that it snapped in completly and now it is fine.

P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
Your crankshaft position sensor has failed. Sometimes it is possible that it's a wiring issue, but 95% of the time it's the sensor itself. I would check the wires that you put them back on correctly when you changed them and the plugs. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!
