My 2003 crown vic is making a loud noise from the top of the motor towards the back drivers side i have already changed the exhaust manifold gasket on that side

You changed the exhaust manifold gasket. Did you take a look at the exhaust pipe, the end connections into the exhaust manifold, and the connections into the catalytic converter? There could be a small hole that that is large enough for the sound to be heard. If you don't know what to look for, have a mechanic look over the entire exhaust system for you. You may be surprised at what they may find.

Just had oil changed 2002 continental have vibration and low roar sound

OK, 1st of all the oil change has nothing to do with vibrations or low roar noise. So not to worry about that. However I suspect that you have an exhaust system issue. Check to see if there is a leak. Also check to see if the car lift did any damage to you exhaust system when oil changed. This might well be the case...damaged when on lift to change oil...
Hope this helps

Lifter noise

by changing the exhaust I take it that you removed the standard exhaust manifold and fitted extractors in instead. The noise may not be lifters but a exhaust leak form the exhaust not being fitted properly (gasket ) or just and gas noise as the exhaust valve opens that is normally silenced by a stock manifold.

Automobile noise, emissions exceed the standard

May be due to the engine exhaust gas in the high temperature oxidation, resulting in leakage of exhaust system. use obd2 inspection of the exhaust system at the interface of it is gas corrosion, interface pad has not been washed. If the exhaust system leakage should be timely to the 4S shop for repair or replacement of leakage components, reduce the pollution emission of harmful substances in environment.

2008 Ford Focus exhaust system noise

Take it to an independent (not a chain) muffler shop and have it replaced. I'm guessing around $200. Also, have the engine mounts checked. If they're worn, the engine rocks too much and breaks the flex pipe.

150000 miles. loud poppng noise in passenger compartment

You may have an exhaust system that when it heats up or all the time is collapsing internally. It would be more apparent when warm. An easy way to check is to warm car up then have someone in the car and be at the back and hold your hand near the tailpipe. You will feel exhaust coming out at idle, now have the other person rev the engine and hold the idle up does the exhaust increase. If not you have a clog and it needs to be addressed for safety. I don't think you have a cooling system problem.

Loud noise (like a motorcycle) coming from 1994 Nissan Murano

check your exhaust system and your muffler. a noisy fuel pump doesn't make sense, especially because a new one didn't change anything. if your muffler even has a tiny hole in it, it would make immense amounts of noise. the fastest way to check it (and you have to be very careful here) is to cover the exhaust pipe entirely with your hand RIGHT after starting the car (so it's still cold) if your hand is pushed off by a lot of force building up, then your exhaust is fine, if your hand can stay there with no resistance, and the noise gets louder, there is a leak in the exhaust system

Exhaust problems

What you are hearing is probably a heat shield on the exhaust system that is loose. It won't cause any harm to drive it like this, it's just annoying. A 'cheap fix' would be to jack the car up, support w/ safety stands, look for something loose on the exhaust system (make sure the car has cooled off, you don't want to grab a hot exhaust pipe), You can usually re-attach the loose shield with something like a wire coat hanger. It may require drilling a hole in the corner of the shield, and then securing the wire after running thru the drilled hole. If you choose to take it to a garage, have them show u what's making the noise, and suggest this fix. If they want to change major exhaust components, tell them u would like to do this, and not an expensive repair at this time. good luck countrycurt0
Another possibility is the engine 'pinging'. I'm assuming the noise is coming from under the car, engine pinging would come from the engine itself. If you believe the noise is from the exhaust, ok, if not let me know. cc
