It's my boot that won't open but last year the same thing happened when i kept trying to put my washer on and i blew the fuse, I've heard it's the same fuse, they are both connected the electronic boot opener and the washer & wipers.

SOURCE: front washer wont work mon

1- when you pull the washer lever, do you hear or feel sound of mini washer water pump working?:
- if Yes, you have a blockage in pipes.... this occurs usually because of impurities, rust, precipitations of soap and cleaners might be used!! check them starting from water resevoir ending with spraeyer under hood
- if NO, you have a problem with either:
- FUSE
- Water mini pump (this is rare!)

SOURCE: windscreen washers stopped working. all fuses ok,wipers working ok.front & back washers not working

Hi, First check that you have wash liquid in tank. second make sure that it will not freeze by putting alcohol in your mix of water and soap. You can buy it already mixed at most service stations. Check pump for corosion on contacts.
Good luck.

I have a 2005 astra 1.7 cdti design and cannot work out how to work the rear windscreen washer or where the filler is.

You press the washer stalk to operate the rear washer but quite commonly the washer jet blocks up and will not release water.

You need to use a pin to try & unblock it. If this doesn't work (and it probably will not) you need to remove the trim on the inside of the boot, unclip the high level brake light & wash out the nozzle with warm water.

Ihave a 2003 Ford Explorer & the windshield wipers won't stop working, with the switch turned off or even removed. The only way to stop them is to remove the battery cable.

Sounds like the park switch in the wiper motor is bad. Some manufacturers allwo you to change the circuit board seperately from the motor, sometimes they have to be changed as a unit

Turn on windshield wipers but they won't turn off

The WS wipers in this truck are controlled by a central module that is called the GEM, this module can be scanned to find the fault wirththe wipers, it could be the GEM that is defective or the wiper motor is defective. It also controls the WS washers do they work?
