Regarding power doors, windows and mirror inop....

Look under the hood at the power distribution center. Fuse #12 should be for the power windows.
Sounds like your problem is more than that...maybe a bad ground wire in driver's side door harness.
Just had the problem, no fuse or relay for the windows/locks. Most chances are the
black ground wire in the harness going to the inside of the door. Because it is greater in gage, it eventually breaks. Cut the rubber, find the break and put a splice between the breaks and all will be well. Just happened on my 2004 Grand Cherokee.......

Regarding the mile indicator, radio illumination, electronic features, cruise control indicator :)

had the same problem. It cost $180 [2 hours of electrical system diagnostic labor] at Goodyear to fix it.

Well the problem is back. I bought the Haynes repair manual for the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee ( ISBN 1563923947) to help me fix it. However, I was able to find a post on another site:

First things first did you check all the fuses? If so and no results may I suggest you take the vehicle to a auto parts store where they do diagnostic testing. Usually this service is free. they will be able to check the error codes pinpointing your problem. This is the most accurate way of knowing. Hope this helps you

Windows and mirrors inop, fuses OK, no fault codes

Depending on the make , model an year vehicle You won't be able to communicate with door module an not all vehicles have door modules ,what makes you think yours has door modules An it depends on scan tool , has to be factory or professional grade scan tool . Your probably have broken wires inside the rubber boot from the body to the door . An power windows usually have a circuit breaker not a fuse .

2008 Buick Enclave; front passenger, no power to window and lock controls, and no power to passenger side mirror. Additionally, passenger heated seats do not operate. From driver seat control, I cannot...

Do you know anything about automotive electronic's ? Serial data Communication network ? Electronic module's inside the vehicle doors , communicate commands ! No relay ,no fuse .
If the passenger mirror is selected and a direction switch is activated, the DDM sends a serial data message to the PDS indicating that the passenger mirror was selected and the direction to be commanded. The PDS will then supply battery voltage and ground to the appropriate control circuits for the direction selected.
DDM - driver's door module

Door Lock System Components
The power door lock system consists of the following components:
• Driver door module (DDM)
• Passenger door module (PDM)
• Door lock relay--Located in the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block and controls the locking of the rear doors.
• Door unlock relay--Located in the I/P fuse block and controls the unlocking of the rear doors
• Body control module (BCM)
• Reversible door lock actuators in each door

Power Window System Components
The power window system consists of the following components:
• Driver door module (DDM)
• Body control module (BCM)
• Passenger door module (PDM)
• Rear door power window switches
• Power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop that has a diagnostic scanner that can pull code's an view input data form these systems . There is one circuit breaker for the window's an fuse's for the lock's . I would think a data network problem . But that would be a guess , without testing anything is possible on these .

The fuse panel is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, next to the emergency brake pedal. You need to remove the under-dash insulation to access some parts of the fuse panel.

If it doesn't have a diagram inside the box, here's one I found online:

My side mirros dont work

The exterior mirrors:
  • are controlled by power controls on the LH front door trim panel.
  • are of a foldaway design.
  • may contain turn signal indicators.
  • may be heated when the heated back window glass is activated.
  • may have a programmable recall memory option.
Driver Seat Module
The power driver seat and power exterior mirrors are controlled by the driver seat module (DSM) only when the vehicle is equipped with the programmable/recall memory option.
Power Exterior Mirror Operation
The power exterior mirrors are controlled by the DSM and are operational all the time, whether the ignition switch is on or off. Using the power exterior mirror switch, the driver can adjust the driver and passenger exterior mirrors four ways.

  1. If the vehicle is equipped with memory exterior mirrors and the concern remains after the inspection, connect the diagnostic tool to the data link connector (DLC) located beneath the instrument panel. Select the vehicle to be tested from the diagnostic tool menu.
    • Check to make sure the program card is correctly installed.

1999 windstar- non functional windows, cruise, radio

Looking at a wiring diagram ,the BCM has nothing to do with the cruise control . This vehicle has two different body control modules ,the (FEM) front electronic module an the (REM) rear electronic module . The power door locks are controlled by these two modules . The door lock switches are inputs to the (FEM) . The driver door lock is also controlled by the (FEM) . The right front and the rear door locks are controlled by the (REM) . The power windows are not controlled by these modules ,so it is not a faulty body computer . An where did you check codes ? Takes a factory or professional type scan tool to read these codes . No code reader , they just check PCM - engine codes . The power mirrors are not controlled by these modules either . Nor is the radio .
Looking at a wiring diagram i see the power mirror's and the power window share a common ground point G-305 , so does the rear radio controller ! (if your vehicle has one )
Buying an replacing parts is no way to fix these problems ! Using a wiring diagram and a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test the electrical circuits of these systems is the way to find the problem . Free wiring diagrams here Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Then under system click on body an Accessorys , subsystem click power windows . Check for B+ voltage to the master window switch , check for a good ground .( Loaded circuit test ) Do you know what that means ? Watch these videos !
