Rear lights aren't working in my 1996 saturn SL1.Not bulb problem

Check fuses next, best done with a meter or a test light. You have a panel to the right of the center console in the front where the passengers left foot is, There is also one under the hood by the left headlight area. Remember that fuses for lights are only powered with the light switch on.

1996 Saturn SL1 - 1.9L-4 cyl. will not start. The starter turns the engine O.K.,there is fuel pressure in the line but no spark.Yet after connecting OBD II reader-it says there are no fault codes.....So...

possible coil pack which is a semi popular failed item on these vehicles....sometimes the pack will fire cold ,then break down hot. Another cause of failure is bad/open plug wires where the kv's have no where to go except right through the heart of that pack and to the easiest path to ground...check pink wires for 12v to the pack and if thats present you might need that puppy....good luck

Car runs but jumps while driving

Take your coil packs off as well as your module whch is on the bottom of your coil pack (4 bolts 8mm)and take them down to your nearest AutoZone and they will test them for of the coil packs could be bad, but just as well test the module while you are at it.

Rough start

The coolant temperature sensor is reading incorrectly. This is a very common problem for s-series cars. Usually the sensor is cracked and leaking into the connector so it will be corroded and need to be replaced also.
