A ford dealership has codes to make you a new key. Bring in your ownership and ID, and they can look up your vin number and cut you a key. They don't like to do this because they don't make much money from you. All dealerships can access code for keys through the vin. Good luck and let me know how you make out

Your best bet if you cannot find the key as much as i hate telling anyone this Is to go to the dealership. They should be able to make you a new key. Or they will change out your ignition and give you a different key.

The key is lost and I cant start the car with the other key beascuse of the larm in the car

Go to dealer with ID and Proof of ownership. Bring VIN# and approx. $150.00 for remote key available overnight. Then it must be programmed at the dealership.

Lost keys for my mazda 3 2004

The only thing you can really do is go to the dealership with the VIN of your car, and he can get you new keys. They're going to be expensive, though. You don't have a keyless entry? If you did, you could find a way to turn your car on through fumbling with the ignition, but, you may ruin it, not a very wise choice.

Both keys have been lost to my 1997 Ford Mustang GT. I understand they have chips in them. What can I do?

You will need to tow to dealer , the dealer can use the cars vin number to cut a new key and reprogram the transpoder,, this is the only way i know about.

Lost the key of a santa fe 2004..the only one...what to do?

Take your title proveing you own the car to the Hyundai dealership and they can use your vin# to get you a new key! The factory keeps the key skimatics on file and you can get a new one as long as you can prove you own the car cost about $40 sometimes more depending on if it is a coded key!

2004 4WD Trailblazer didn't start this morning. No crank, no ticking but some power to accessories. My son tried to put window down and the radio came on. Later in the day, the radio came on...

I had the key stuck once. Make sure the key is in the off position. Make sure the steering wheel is not locked against a stop. The vehicle must be in park and try stepping on the brake. Try jumping the car with another car or battery pack.

Lost my car keys

about 100 bucks for two new keys they have transponders so it's best two have two than one and they have to program the computer. Go to a key shop and they can do it for you they will be cheeper than a dealership, call a lock smith or at least two before deciding on where to have it done.

Lost Car Key

Usually you can go to the dealership and give them your VIN number (or whatever numbers they may ask for) and proof of ownership and they can order/cut you a new key in very little time... I lost my keys to my 1994 Acura integra on the ski slope once and couldn't get home and they were able to get me a replacement in a couple of hours....
