Question about Cars & Trucks
Is the car automatic, or standard? The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick. It is filled from under neath the car. An automatic is located under the hood, up beside the firewall. It is probably red in color. It is a dipstick. Pull it out when the car is warm to check it. Read the dipstic itself and it will tell you add, or full, and it will also tell you what gear to put the car in to check the fluid. Some say park and some say neutral. Good luck

on some of the newer cars they dont have dipsticks they have a plug near the pan that you have to pull on the trans to check the fluid level and to fill it there is a cap hidden on top of the trans by all the stuff you have to try to bend a funnel around to get in it. dont you love the engineers

There is no dipstick. Where the passenger side axle comes out there is a small plug. After the vehicle is at normal operating temp and idling in park you remove the plug and the fluid level should be at that level. You almost need a lift to check.

There is no transmission dip stick... it is a sealed system and no service is necessary. If it's leaking, you'll need to have the seal replaced.

I am not sure which engine you have on your 202 Grand Prix, but if you have the most common 3800 V6 this is where it should be. Look at the back of the engine compartment just to the left of the plastic master cylinder resevoir.
Here is a picture you can look at...
I hope I was able to assist you!
