Question about 1988 Cadillac Eldorado
I want to upgrade the original bose tape radio to a late model bose cd player. Reason for this is to keep the factory look. Can I do this?? From what I understand the Bose head units make low level signals for the speakers. Thats why there is a mini amp for each speaker. There are 4 speakers and they sound great. Does this apply to all bose factory radios??
For example: I want to install a Bose CD player from a 2002 corvette.
I may have to rearrange some wires but, Will it work?
or Does anyone suggest a preticular radio to use.

I had the same problem. disconnect the battery cables. then reconnect them. this will reset the cd player and it should relaese all your cd player problems.
this happened twice to me and the above worked fine both times.

Hopefully you got the unlock code with it, otherwise, write down serial number and model number off back or side of deck, and give dealer a call, they should be able to give you the code .
