Location of Thermostat

All Saturns 91-99 have a 1.9L 4 cylinder engine block, only the heads are different. Look at the radiator, it has two large black rubberlike hoses, one top and one bottom, which connect to the engine.
Where the top hose connects, it actually connects to the thermostat housing. Thus you have to drain the coolant, and remove the top hose from the housing end, then the housing from the engine and you will have the thermostat. Make sure you clean all surfaces well before you put the new thermostat in and reattach the housing. Might also be a good time to put new radiator hoses on, top and bottom.

Where is the thermostat located at, on a 3.0 v6 ,1996 ford taurus

The thermostat is located on the drivers side of the motor underneath a large wiring harness and is difficult to see. try following the top radiator hose backwards. Hope this helps....not too hard to change either.
DEPENDS. If it is the 24 valve OHC engine, the thermostat is on the passenger side, front, bottom of the engine. It's a little hard to get to but just two bolts.

The thermostat is located at the engine end of the lower radiator hose (passenger side). If the car has power-steering the power steering pump and mounting bracket have to be removed to get to the thermostat housing. The thermostat is at the end of the bottom hose, in the water pump housing ..not the top

Thermostat

Follow the bottom hose around the back of the engine and over to the passenger side. This hose ends up almost directly behind the front/top hose (where the thermostat should be...but that would be too easy). Unbolt 3 bolts holding the housing on, pop off the housing, and the thermostat should just pop right out.
