Question about 2006 Chrysler Sebring

Where is the fuse for the radio in a 2006 chrysler sebring

I bought the car used and don't have an owners manual for reference. I checked all the fuses in the panel under the hood. None of them were blown. Is there an interior fuse box?

SOURCE: fuse for the radio is out and cannot locate the

Fuse #14 (20 amp) controls the radio. The fuse is in the Integrated Power Module (fancy name for a fuse/relay box) It's under the hood on the driver's side. It sits just forward of the driver's side McPherson strut tower. There is a cover over the top which must be removed to see the fuses. Have you checked for power at the radio's electrical connector? You should have power at two points, one always hot (radio memory) and one which only has power when the ignition switch is on (this is the one that turns the radio on).

2006 cylinder misfire

Need to check for codes & use them to diagnose
the misfire issue.

Don't start thinking codes tell you what is wrong &
what to replace

Study OBD2 Systems, because you do not want to
throw parts at any vehicle

Radio isnt working

Check the fuse to the radio.

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.

HOW DO YOU TELL LOCATION OF FUSE #9

If you have the owners manual look in the index under fuses. If you don't have a manual you can find one on the Chrysler website. Click on the owners link. You can also check the fuses visually. It will be abvious if it is blown. You can also use a test light. You will see a little piece of metal sticking through the fuse on both sides. There should be power on both of those peices. If there is power on one side and not the other the fuse is blown. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

You are lucky it's still running look under hood and go into fuse box by battery and check all fuses and use a spare relay to check relays if fuses don't fix it

What fuse # do I pull for the air bag. I think the sensor is going out, so I want to pull the fuse to stop the binging noise.

If you do that you may not have any air bag in
the event of an accident, just a thought, don't know

Really need to purchase an owners manual for all
your vehicles, just for fuses & bulbs & check lights
etc

How do you replace the fuse for the cigarette lighter/power outlet?

I'm assuming that you are talking about Sebring Sedan, check the fuse panel in the Power Distribution (underhood), PAGE 219 from Owners Manual.

Good luck (remember rated this).
