Used wrong fuel. drained system. re-fueld and bled system but wont start. any ideas please

Using wrong fuel should cause the engine to not start unless you ran it with bad fuel for a period and trashed the engine. The first thing to do is to pull the codes from the ECM and see what they say. If you put gasoline in a diesel or vice versa you may have damaged other components of the vehicle.
Did you check for spark? Did you check to see if fuel is coming from the rail when the key is on? Did you pressure test the fuel pump? The wrong fuel may have damaged the seals on the pump.

Why does the fuel pump relay don't click when i turn the key to run? and why there is no power at the fuel pump relay?

the operation of most fuel pumps is controlled by the fuel pressure regulator
when the fuel pump gets to set pressure , the pump is switched of by the ECM at the relay level
maybe nothing wrong with your system just the system working as designed
if you have pressure in the fuel manifold when you turn the ignition on then the pump will not run but will if there is a fuel leak somewhere and the pressure drops off

Getting it to start

Not only that, we need to know what's happening or not happening.

With what little you've given us, here are the possibilities.

Battery, battery wires, battery clamps, alternator, alternator fuse, regulator, starter, seized engine, lifters, crankshaft, camshaft, timing belt, timing chain, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor, fuel, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pump fuse, fuel injectors, fuel injector fuse, fuel injector relay, wrong key, key chip, key chip reading system, ignition switch, ignition switch relays, ignition switch fuses, multiple computers, in wrong gear, clutch not pressed, and I'm sure I missed a dozen more.

My 1994 gmc Sonoma will only start up if I spray starter fluid in it an then it will cut right back off. What's wrong with it?

Which fuel system do you have, spider fuel system or tbi? Check for proper fuel pressure. Check fuel injector pulse.

If you have the spider fuel system, that system is noted for problems. Any applicable trouble codes? If computer doesn't see an rpm signal, no injector pulse, no fuel.

I can't rule out a problem with ignition module, but, there could be other issues?

old post 1991 a 8valve engine????
it ran before? or not? if not you did the diagnosis wrong, ask?
does it crank? no, then.
if you read the fsm it said disconnect battery first.
forget to put it back?
keyon, CEL lamp glows, it must or you blew up to 3 ECU fuses.
say it cranks,
fuel pressure not 34psi but 0 or 10
you did it wrong.

the first test for dead fuel system after proving
that is what
check output of fuel pump relay for 11 to12v cranking
if good the at pump. actual
if no power to pump all old and new pumps are useless
ask how to finish this process..

Is a Fuel pump control circuit and a fuel relay the same thing. And where is it locate? EVAP what all causes this code to show up? The guy told me he would have to run a full dianostic to find out exactly...

The electric vane rotary fuel pump is well a fuel pump, the control circuit (fuel pump relay, wiring and PCM) is what powers the pump on and off, like the switch that turns on a lamp, part of the same system but two different things. The fuel pump itself is located inside the fuel tank, the electrical control circuits are in various places like the fuse box and the wiring runs all over and then back to the fuel pump eventually. Evap code are generated in most cases by a fuel vapor leak, this is snesed by the computer via a small pressure sensor.

Car repairs I just replaced my fuel pump in my truck but dont seem to b getting fuel to throttle body still wont start i have checked my relay and can here fuel pump come on

If youare looking for fuel at the throttle body, you will not find any unless there is something TERRIBLY WRONG with your truck. Depending on which engine you have (there are 3 possible engines for the 1996 model year) your truck is equipped with Multiport Fuel Injection (MFI) or Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection (SMFI)
You need to test the fuel pressure by connecting a fuel pressure gauge to the service port on the fuel rail. If the pump is running, there is no need to mess with the relay because it is obviously working. If the pressure is OK, then there is no problem with your fuel delivery system. The next thing to check is the fuel injection system. Also, have you checked to see if you have spark at the spark plugs? It could be that your truck is not starting because of ignition system problems.

My car will only go 30 mph when i try to give it gas. what is wrong ? it have 136.000 miles on it 2004 kia amanti 6 cyl. /

Sounds like you have fuel pump issues. May need to replace the fuel pump. Does the check engine or service engine soon lights come on? That or maybe injectors, or something alone the fuel system line. First check would be fuel pump.

I was driving my 2004 chevrolet cavalier it stop run and i can not trun it back on check gas line and no gas is coming up thou fuel line what can be wrong?

It sounds like you have a bad fuel pump, a bad fuse to the fuel system, or the cut-off switch was tripped to the fuel pump. Check you owner's manual to check the cut-off switch reset. If this doesn't fix the problem and you have replaced the fuse to the fuel system then you will most likely have to replace the fuel pump. Start with the easiest solution first before replacing the fuel pump.

Can I remove the fuel gauge from another complete fuel pump assembly and put it on my fuel pump assembly? That is all that is wrong with my fuel pump assembly and a mechanic gave me a used fuel pump a

Yes, if it is mounted to the tank the same way and is from the same type fuel injection system. By same type I mean "port fuel injection" or "throttle body injection". Your system is "port fuel injection" so the used one has to be from a "port fuel injection" system. Also is the tank that the used one is coming out of the same size as yours? If it doesn't hold the same amount of gallons the gas gauge might be wrong. Make sure the the electrical connectors are the same on both assy"s. Hope this helps you out. Good luck.
